Dear friends,

As the wildfires continue to devastate Los Angeles and surrounding areas, our hearts go out to the families who have lost their homes, the communities coping with the destruction, and the lives lost or forever changed by this natural disaster. At Apothékary, we’ve always believed in the power of community and in coming together to support one another, especially in times of crisis.

Although I was fortunate to be away from my home in Los Angeles during this time, this tragedy truly hits home. California isn’t just where I live – it’s where countless memories have been made and lifelong connections formed. Many of our employees, friends, and community members have been impacted, and we feel it’s our duty to step up.

This weekend, from January 10th to 12th, we’ll be donating 10% of profits to the American Red Cross to support the newly established California Wildfires 2025 designation. This fund will provide crucial resources for relief and recovery, including shelter, food, and support for displaced families and communities working to rebuild.

If you’d like to join us in making an impact, we’ll be sharing additional ways to help on our Instagram. It’s during times like these that we’re reminded of the incredible strength of our community and how it carries us forward.

Our hearts are with our Los Angeles Community, as well as the brave firefighters, first responders, and volunteers who are working tirelessly to contain these fires and provide relief. Stay alert, stay safe, and take care of one another.

With love,

Shizu Okusa
