Hey Folks!

As we set our sights on big, bold goals, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But here's a reminder: huge goals are simply a series of tiny victories strung together in a meaningful way.

Each small step - every little win (or wisdom from a fail) - adds up, building momentum, resilience, and perspective. The path to achievement isn’t always linear, and as we get further down the road, sometimes we're called to re-evaluate what is most important in our dynamic life.

Goals can shift and evolve. Sometimes, the destination changes, and that's okay. What matters is the journey and adapting when needed.

Personally, I find that adapting is often the hardest part because I become myopic on the original task: to get the thing done at any cost. In real time, a pivot can feel like failure in some sense of the word, but in once the dust settles, a pivot is often the thing I needed most. This is especially true when goal setting for a next race, I find.

After a hiatus from triathlon and a pivot towards running for joy, I have realized that I might not be qualifying for the Ironman World Championship any time soon. That pursuit shift was a tough pill to swallow, but what I needed most was to rediscover the beauty of running in the most basic form.

So today, perhaps let’s celebrate the small wins, adapt when necessary, and keep moving forward!

Here's to the journey,

_michael
