Hi ,

Seven years ago, Caleb and I “launched” Backdrop. Which meant sitting in our New York apartment, staring at a Shopify screen, and clicking a button. Monumental and anticlimactic all at once. From our New York apartment to now being in thousands of homes, it’s hard to believe how far Backdrop has come. Thank you for being part of it all.

The coolest part has been the evolution. Colors that started as paint have now become wallpaper that will soon become fabrics(!) and eventually rugs!

Today, on our 7th birthday, here is a 20% off code on all Backdrop products through tomorrow night, 10/31. USE CODE: birthday20. Or forward this email to a friend. In case you need some inspo: This is our best selling white at the moment, my 8 YO said this is the best color her eyes have ever seen, the rug I just put in my house, and my favorite wallpaper that was in AD and Frederic this month.

Cheers and a sincere thank you for being a part of our journey. 🖤 We’re still having fun, which feels like the real win.

Here are some fun moments from the past 7 years.
