bloXroute May 2022 Newsletter

Welcome back to another bloXroute newsletter. It’s been a while since our last update, but we’ve been busy, trust us!

Over the last few weeks, the cryptocurrency space has been on a wild ride. The collapse of the Luna ecosystem added fuel to an already building fire. But while others in the ecosystem are going through a rough patch, we are in the best position we’ve ever been. We are extremely well-capitalized, our team is growing at an insane rate, our business is flourishing and moving forward, and we’re extremely excited about integrating our services with Serum and other projects in the Solana ecosystem.

In the next few weeks, we will send a product update email covering recent releases as well as upcoming developments that you can look forward to. These products include:

Ultra-tier plan benefits
Serum (SRM) API
Solana AMM fast feeds
Flashbots bundles propagation via the BDN
NFT trader dApp
DEX guard dApp

For this Quarter’s update, we are going to focus on our recent $70 million Series B funding round as well as several upcoming crypto events including Permissionless and Consensus. Let’s jump in.

$70 Million Series B Funding Round

On April 12, we completed our Series B funding round for $70 million. This milestone achievement further cements our belief that the crypto world, and more specifically the DeFi world, recognize the growing importance that our technology will play in shaping the future world of decentralized trading.

This funding round was led by SoftBank’s Vision Fund 2, the latest investment in a decentralized blockchain technology company by the Japanese investment powerhouse. In addition to SoftBank, we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with our other Series B investors which included: Blindspot Ventures, Dragonfly Capital, Flow Traders, Flybridge, GSR, Jane Street Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners, ParaFi Capital, and Rockaway Blockchain Fund.

Our entire team is extremely proud of the hard work we’ve put in to get to this point. But by no means is this the end. We look forward to continuing to build in pursuit of our ultimate goal of transforming the world of decentralized trading!

Devconnect Event

Last month, we had the pleasure of participating in Devconnect in Amsterdam, a week-long in-person gathering that featured independent Ethereum events, each with a specific focus. The goal was to focus on quality over quantity, to really do a deep dive into topics that were important to the future of the Ethereum community. By going in-depth, this event was able to bring together individual participants to discuss, learn about and make significant progress on specific topics.

Representing the bloXroute team in Amsterdam was our Co-Founder & COO, Eyal Markovich. Eyal had the opportunity to participate in several group panels and meet with many developers and traders in the DeFi community.

It was such an honor to present and meet with so many great minds at Devconnect. In addition to this event, there are several more prominent crypto events coming in the near future.

Permissionless by Blockworks

Several of our team members including Eyal Markovich, Brent Sitterle, and Justin Khalayleh, will attend Permissionless in Palm Beach, FL from May 17-19. This event is unlike any other in that really focuses on representing the values important to the DeFi community; open, community-focused, and heavy on the degen.

The biggest names in crypto will be at this event and we are excited to hear from all of them. Topics will include the metaverse, NFTs and gaming, the current state of finance and institutional adoption, and the future of DeFi. The really wonderful thing about these types of events is that we will meet people from really diverse career paths. Participants will include builders, developers, artists, gamers, creators, and investors!

We are also excited about getting to talk with DeFi traders who could benefit from our infrastructure and technology. If you are interested in meeting at the event or want to schedule one-on-one time on our calendar, you can do so by visiting the following link: https://lnkd.in/gpvTN4Bs.

Consensus by CoinDesk

Much like with Permissionless, this event will serve as a fantastic opportunity to connect with DeFi traders that are interested in taking their results to the next level. Need help with infrastructure? Want to see opportunities faster than your competitors and then be able to act on those opportunities as well? Let us know and we would be thrilled to schedule some one-on-one time with you. If you would like to meet with us, please send an email to hello@bloxroute.com.
