Red Dress (private)Company Description:
Red Dress was founded by our CEO & dreamer, Diana Harbour in 2005 as a small storefront in Athens, Georgia. Diana left her corporate cubicle job to start a small boutique, and in her words, "Red Dress was inspired from a love of fashion and a fear of complacency." Red Dress was born from a need of creative expression on a larger scale and a desire to fill a void Diana saw in the market. We were one of the first websites to feature "complete the look" features, by styling and selling entire outfits from head to toe. Our e-commerce website officially launched in 2009, just as social media was starting to become a place for businesses. Website and social sales quickly took off, and we grew quicker than Diana could have imagined. You may remember us from our 2014 Shark Tank episode, where we received a large investment from one of the sharks to grow our website. Since then, Diana has bought back full ownership of the company and we continue to grow on all social channels, and foster growing relationships with content creators. Today, Red Dress is one the fastest growing online women's clothing websites in the country. Our team is full of creatives, who like Diana, were never meant to work in a cubicle. Our mission at Red Dress is to help women feel their best, by making fashion fun, relatable, and attainable. We value hard work, innovation, and those unique traits and styles that make us all different!Industry Tags:
