Hi there,

Sherilynn here, Director of Sales at Craighill. I wouldn’t normally be the one sending emails out to y’all, but today the marketing team is on a well-deserved outing to Resorts World, so I’m stepping in to make a modest gifting suggestion for the entertainers (or enjoyers of mixed drinks) on your list.

As I’m writing this — and as the marketing team is no doubt enjoying a world-class selection of video slots and automated baccarat — I’ve just finished mixing up my first Mezcal Margarita of the evening.

I obviously used my Craighill x East Fork Mescola Cocktail Set — I’ll be using it when my guests arrive, too, but knowing them they’ll probably request espresso martinis. I’d include a recipe for those, but no one can ever seem to agree on the ‘right’ way to make one. It’s personal.

Thankfully, my Mescola Cocktail Set is up to the task — even if we get a real wildcard and someone decides they’re in the mood for a Cosmo or a Negroni — who am I kidding, that will probably be me! Between the shaker, the jigger, and the weighted mixing spoon, my only real limitation is my liquor cabinet.

The real hero is the shaker, though. I mean, just look at her!

Something about seeing East Fork’s pottery forms cast in metal makes it hard to look away. It’s not just pretty, either! That elegant pour spout doesn’t miss the mark, even a few drinks in. Plus it’s got a built-in strainer that won’t leak citrus and booze on me — even if I haven’t perfected my shaking technique just yet.

All of this is to say, if you or someone you love is in possession of the Hosting Gene, they’d probably love to get their hands around the Mescola Cocktail Set. It really is the perfect gift for the person who goes all out for company.

Anyway, I’ve got to finish setting up before my guests get here, so I’ll leave you with one more photo of the stunning Mescola shaker.

Isn’t she a beaut?
