If You're Too Busy...

Oh, how we love a good vision board session, and taking time to write down our goals for the year ahead always leaves us feeling inspired to take on the new year. 💫 And if you’re anything like us, you’re nosy AF and want to know what everyone else is manifesting for the year ahead, too. 😜 Behold, team Girlboss’s 2025 goals: from personal to professional to travel, let our manifestations inspire yours.

What What Team Girlboss Has On Their 2025 Vision Boards

💼 One thing you'd like to accomplish professionally this year

“I’d really like to start exploring the UGC industry again and getting into that as another side hustle. UGC (user-generated content) is basically filming ads for other brands with typically just your phone! Plus, you don’t need a following on social media to get started—just filming/editing skills and a stand-out portfolio. If you’re reading this, maybe this is your sign to get started too? 👀” — Cheska, social media specialist

“Partnering with a high-profile brand to create a multi-channel campaign or initiative that resonates with the Girlboss community and aligns with our mission of empowering women.” — Kate, brand partnerships manager

“I’m excited to experiment with new content formats to engage with and bring the most value to our amazing readers in new ways. I don't want to spoil what's in the works, so you'll have to stay tuned. 😉 I always like to remind myself that the data will tell us what’s working (and what’s not), and it’s important for us to use those insights to guide smarter, more impactful decisions. As a marketer, it’s all about testing, learning, and growing!” — Kamela, content marketing manager

“I really want to invest some time (and money!) this year into improving my photography skills and setup. I photograph and film a lot of recipe content, and I think some small improvements (particularly a better lighting setup, because currently, I rely on the sun LOL) could really take my content to the next level.” — Lara, contributor

“Find a mentor and expand my network by connecting with more inspiring women.” — Vanessa, general manager

“To become a more confident speaker! I am so comfortable yapping behind the comfort of a keyboard, but when it comes to on-the-fly speaking in meetings, I find myself stumbling over my words, over-apologizing, and second-guessing what I’m saying. Maybe a professional speaking course would help me get more comfortable using my actual voice.” — Victoria, executive editor

🧘‍♀️ One thing you'd like to accomplish personally this year

“I want to pay off a majority of my debt next year—student loans, car loans, and credit card bills that I’ve racked up throughout the years. I’ve been so scared to tackle them head on but I think I’ll feel a whole lot better after I start to pay them off.” — Cheska, social media specialist

“Begin pottery classes. I want to find a hobby where I get to work with my hands.” — Kate, brand partnerships manager

“Next year, I’m trading doom-scrolling for something much more intentional and fulfilling. Instead of mindlessly refreshing my FYP, I want to take time to read the books on my endless TBR list, consume content that actually adds value to my life, and connect with like-minded people (both virtually and IRL).” — Kamela, content marketing manager

“I’ve gotten really into making pottery on the wheel this year, and having a creative hobby where I can just completely get into a flow and tune out the world has been unbelievably rewarding. My goal is to make a matching set of four items in the new year (bowls, plates, mugs, anything!)… trust me, it’s way harder than it sounds!” — Lara, contributor

“Prioritize daily movement and elevate my overall physical fitness routine.” — Vanessa, general manager

“Confession: I have no morning or nighttime routine, and that’s something I really want to implement in 2025. Read: Giving myself an hour or two before work to get myself ready, walk my dog, eat a nutritious breakfast, and maybe even read a few pages of my favorite book before I log on at 9 a.m. Because I friggin’ deserve it! And that sounds much better than waking up at 8:59 a.m. and opening my laptop from bed. 😫” — Victoria, executive editor

✈️ What's one place you'd like to travel to next year?

“Paris, France! 🇫🇷 🥖 I toured Europe for the first time with my family this year and we skipped out on Paris, so in 2025, I definitely want to be sitting by the Eiffel Tower, drinking a thick, rich hot chocolate, and eating buttery croissants.” — Cheska, social media specialist

“My New Year's resolution is to take a solo trip. Debating if I should start small with a long weekend in Copenhagen or a longer beach destination like Bali.” — Kate, brand partnerships manager

“I've had my eyes set on Portugal for so long now that I am making it a must-see destination for 2025! It has the perfect mix of stunning landscapes, rich history, and a welcoming culture. I'm imagining starting the day with a pastel de nata (those little custard tarts) and a cup of strong coffee, then wandering the cobblestone streets of Lisbon with its iconic yellow trams and colorful tiles. I'm excited to experience it for myself!” — Kamela, content marketing manager

“I’m really hoping 2025 is the year I finally go to Japan. I had this trip booked for Spring 2020 (lol) and haven’t been able to swing it since then. I’m already day-dreaming of my 7/11 haul.” — Lara, contributor

“Japan.” — Vanessa, general manager

“Banff and Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. I want to explore more of the West Coast, with the gorgeous Rocky Mountains and serene lakes. Go for a winter hike, skate on a crystal-clear lake, and most importantly, be off of my phone and in nature. I can practically smell the fresh mountain air already!” — Victoria, executive editor

ALDO Hasley Sling-Back Kitten Heel in Red

Hasley Sling-Back Kitten Heel, ALDO, $73.50

The Holiday Heel

“My plans for New Year's Eve? You’ll find me on the dance floor moving and groovin' instead of pointing to my shoes and ‘ooohing’ in pain. These kitten heels from ALDO are the best for gals who get grouchy in pinchy heels but love the look of a sharp stiletto. I recently went to a holiday party in them and had no issue standing for long periods of time, walking to and from the venue, and also dancing a bit at an afters. 😉 Also, no break-in period! What’s there not to like?”— Jennifer, contributor

Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Bread Oven in Navy

Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Bread Oven, $300, Williams Sonoma

The Baking Tool That Feels So Luxe

“Every year I tell myself I’ll start making my own bread, and this gorgeous "Shallot"-colored Le Creuset bread oven is going to be the reason I finally start. It’s made with Le Creuset’s signature enameled cast iron and is designed to emulate the effects of brick-oven baking (a.k.a. the reason why bakery bread is tasty AF). I’ll be honest, the reason I *really* want it is because it stamps ‘Le Creuset’ onto the bottom of every loaf. What can I say, I’m a sucker for good branding!” — Lara, contributor

The Cheeky Christmas Song

“Even though I’m not in a situationship currently (thank god), I have been there (*shudders*), and this new Christmas song from singer-songwriter Lyn Lapid is all too relatable. I feel like once you’ve heard one Christmas song, you’ve heard them all, but this one is unlike any others on my festive Spotify playlist. With lyrics like, ‘Send me Christmas cards, not texts at 3 a.m. / Leave some presents, not my messages unread,’ Lyn sings about wanting someone to treat her like the queen she is! Kissing in the snow, dancing to a 1950s band, talking on the phone for hours, and professing their love to you? That’s not too much to ask for on your Christmas wishlist, Lyn! You deserve it!” — Victoria, executive editor
