Hey Grazoid,

We were doin’ some last minute movie watching and got to thinking… why is no one talking about the FOOD?! So here we go, giving out our own virtual awards for standout bites in film :-)

Best Overall Menu 🏆

Sinners

We’re drooling over all the historically accurate food from the Mississippi Delta — specifically the Hot-Water Cornbread, Delta Hot Tamales, & Fried Catfish! 🤩

Best Farmer’s Market Haul 🏆
Hamnet
The food stylist made sure to source foods that could all be gathered locally and preserved… hence all the pickles, ferments, and stewed fruits!

Best Food Marketing 🏆
Marty Supreme
The Metro Cinema in NYC made these gorgeous orange ping-pong ball inspired desserts: ginger and satsuma pâte à bombe mousse with whipped matcha cheesecake 🤤 Also, did you see Timmy on the Wheaties box??

Best Classic Meal 🏆
Bugonia
Spaghetti and meatballs were kind of a main character in that scene. IYKYK.

Okay now we’re hungry so we’re gonna go make cauliflower soup and pretend we’re hanging out with Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley. BYE!!!
