Hi ,

Most guys don’t think twice about what’s in their hair products—but the truth is, traditional styling products are packed with cheap, harmful ingredients that can seriously damage your hair and scalp over time.

Here are just a few of the common culprits:

PVP (Polyvinylpyrrolidone):
A synthetic plastic polymer that gives hold but builds up on your scalp, clogging pores and suffocating hair follicles—leading to irritation and hair loss.

Carbomer (CA):
A petroleum-derived thickener that does nothing for your hair’s health and can cause dryness and flaking.

Silicones (Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane):
They create a false shine and sleek feel while sealing off your hair from real hydration. Long-term use can lead to dryness, breakage, and buildup.

Parabens & Phthalates:
Used to extend shelf life and preserve scent, but linked to hormone disruption and skin sensitivity. Many countries have already banned them.

Artificial Fragrances:
A cocktail of unknown chemicals—most of which you’ll never see on a label—that can trigger allergies, inflammation, and scalp issues.

Drying Alcohols & Sulfates:
These strip your hair and scalp of natural oils, leaving your strands brittle and your scalp out of balance.

The bottom line:
Most hair products are designed for temporary style—not long-term health.

At Jack Henry, we take the opposite approach.

Our hair products are designed to style and strengthen. We use clean, plant-based, nutrient-rich ingredients that do more than just hold your hair in place:

Mango Butter delivers deep hydration and helps lock in moisture

Our formulas nourish your hair, balance your scalp’s pH, prevent dandruff, and detox your scalp—all while delivering effortless style.

This is what multifunctional, purposeful self-care looks like. This is Jack Henry.
