Hi ,

This is Steph, the founder of Cadence. I’m not sure if you know much about our story – but I thought I would share why Cadence exists so you know a little bit about me, our team of 25, and what we stand for.

The TLDR; we hope Cadence makes you feel in love with your products again, and feel empowered to do you – no matter where you are.

The early days; Cadence began with a pain point I had as a customer: trying to keep the personal care routine I invested in at home when traveling was messy, wasteful, and unreliable. I worked on this problem for two years, eventually quit my full-time job, and invested $30K (all of my savings). I spent the last $5k in my bank account on our patent to protect the invention that took over three years to create: our Capsule System.

The industry secret I wasn’t in on; I didn’t know then that most people don’t make products from scratch, and don’t have any in-house product designers. To me, it just felt natural. How do you make something truly special without real invention? Our goal was to make a product so good it could fit seamlessly into your life (without you having to change a thing). Anything less didn’t feel worth making. The team will tell you that the hardest fight has been protecting the slow, careful way we build. We don’t release anything we can’t stand behind.

Today, our products are made with a family-run manufacturer in Canada and partners in Shenzhen. We run our own warehouse so we can stay close to every detail. If something isn’t right, we feel it and we fix it.

Until Monday – If you’ve been thinking about purchasing Cadence or expanding your system (thank you to our incredible community of 500,000!!), I wanted to let you know the site is up to 30% off for our once-a-year sale. We almost never discount like this. Each purchase supports our mission and innovation – thank you.

…And don’t tell our CFO, but we are also running a daily release of one set up to 40% off all weekend. We wanted to make sure that if you wanted to try Cadence, you can :)

Thank you for supporting this mission and believing in a small team that insists on doing things the hard way.

Warmly,

Steph
