Hi ,

The most common response I get when people find out I run a nail care brand is "don't look at my hands." And then they hide them. Behind their back, under the table, up their sleeve, wrapped around a coffee cup.

It doesn't get talked about much, but its something a lot of women deal with in silence. That awareness of their hands in moments where they feel seen. In meetings. At dinner. Handing someone a gift. Shaking a hand for the first time.

A woman who has been a great mentor in business told me she started really noticing her hands and nails a few years ago. Not because anyone pointed them out, but because she could see them signalling to her about how life is changing. Ridges she'd never had before, dryness that wouldn't go away. Nothing major, but noticeable to her. She found herself taking a more proactive approach to nail maintenance, because it helped her with feeling put together, in a similar way to putting on a lipstick before heading out.

I've heard versions of this from women in their 40s, 50s, 60s. The details change but the feeling is the same. Hands that used to be invisible suddenly feel visible, and part of whether you're feeling put together or not.

Over time, things like reduced circulation, hormonal changes, and years of everyday exposure to water and chemicals all take a toll on the nail plate. It gets drier, growth slows down, and ridges start to appear. It's not simply a cosmetic issue, it's the nail telling you it isn't getting what it needs anymore.

That's what we built Kester Black to address. Not to make nails look perfect for one evening. To actually improve their condition with consistent daily care.

If you are thinking about Mother's Day, this is the kind of gift that changes a daily moment. Instead of something she will use once, something she will reach for every night before bed, and start to notice the difference within weeks.

We are running a special gift-with-purchase with this in mind. Spend $90 and receive $113 in free gifts, including a full Ultimate Nail Rescue set. If you're thinking about Mother's Day, it's a gift that actually gets better with time. You can shop here --> https://kesterblack.com.au/collections/all

Sending warm wishes to you and your family.
