Hi ,

Growing up, both Nisha and I faced skin issues that deeply affected our confidence. For me, it was painful cystic acne that left behind deep scars. At 10, my aunt took me to a spa in India where they bleached my skin, thinking it would help with the scarring. I continued this for years, not realizing how harmful ingredients like mercury were until I was diagnosed with autoimmune thyroid disease.

Nisha’s experience was different, but equally frustrating, dealing with teenage acne—thinking it would naturally clear up by adulthood. But even into her 30s, she was dealing with breakouts and scarring. For both of us, it felt like the solutions we needed were either out of reach or not designed for our skin. It felt hopeless to discover that many products weren’t tested on our skin tones, and most even made our hyperpigmentation and scarring worse.

After years of frustration with dermatologist visits and expensive treatments that didn’t work, we realized something had to change. That’s why we created Lion Pose. Skincare should work for every skin tone, no exceptions, and our goal was simple: to create products that are safe, and effective for all skin types, tones, and textures. That’s why we invest over $50K in clinical trials for every product, testing across all Fitzpatrick skin types (I-VI). While it’s not an industry requirement, it’s our standard...and we’ve yet to see another brand that tests like we do.

Whether you’re struggling with acne, scarring, or just looking for products that are safe and effective for you, we wanted to take the time to let you know that we are here for you. We love hearing your stories—if Lion Pose has made a difference in your skincare journey, please share it with us! Your experiences inspire us and help others find products they can trust.

With love,
