Catalog & DPA News for Experts

Catalogers,

I know, It's been awhile...

Truth is, Q4 was insane over here:

We onboarded a crop of Fortune 500 brands (I wish I could tell you who but...you know...NDA's...)
Over $280,00,000 in ad spend was spent on Marpipe-generate enriched catalogs in December alone. (btw that's only counting Meta!)
Our product and team was put through an ultimate stress test. And lucky to say, we passed with flying colors.

I had to hire some new help on our team so that I could get back to writing this newsletter for you all.

To make up for how long it's been, I wanted to share some exciting news with you to kick off 2025.

Product Level Video (PLV) is here.

Video. For your catalog ads.

If you haven't already heard

In 2024, Video DPA became something you could do, for the first time ever.

You've probably already seen examples in the wild, but for those unfamiliar, brands can upload video assets directly into their catalog at the SKU level.

Yes - we are now FREE from the shackles of static. Now, you can incorporate animation and simple motion elements into your DPA.

Even as simple as this:

Yup, with something as simple as a thumb stopper animation, On Sportswear increased their ROAS by 41%.

Now, it's no secret how powerful video is for performance marketers. 60% of the time people spend on Facebook and Instagram is on video -- this should be a layup.

But there's a massive problem...

In order to utilize this feature, you need to have video for every SKU in your catalog.

If you are 99.9% of brands, I know what you're thinking...

So what are you supposed to do?

Marpipe has you covered.

With Marpipe, you can turn every SKU image across your catalog into a video -- taking full advantage of powerful video DPA.

With Marpipe, we've removed the barriers of testing video so you can:

1) Skyrocket your CTR on DPA's with video

2) Lift brand impact with lifestyle videos
3) Generate additional urgency during sales events with countdown clocks

It's incredibly easy to use too.
