Two weeks ago we launched the second installment of our new Campus Legends program, following up from our Syracuse x Carmelo Anthony launch. This time we had the honor of bringing 'Campus Legends’ x Jackie Robinson to UCLA.

The first part of the day was focused on an inspiring panel discussion with Sonya Pankey Robinson - Jackie's granddaughter - Kyle Bowser (NAACP), Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson and Jelani McCoy. This was filmed for an upcoming episode of 'All The Smoke' with Matt and Stak. During the panel they spoke about Jackie's legacy at UCLA and beyond. They then opened the floor up to a Q & A where they passed down knowledge to current UCLA student athletes from the four departments/sports that Jackie lettered in while there.

Following this discussion, Matt did a break out one-on-one session with Deshaun Foster, the new Head Coach of the UCLA Men’s Football team.

The whole team then walked through Campus sharing more stories and wisdom before arriving at the UCLA Campus Bookstore where we officially launched the UCLA x Jackie Robinson 'Campus Legends' collection with a ribbon cutting ceremony. If you are in LA, you should go check out the store.

It was a fantastic day and we are grateful to UCLA, all the panelists, the entire All The Smoke crew and everyone who came out to support the event in person. Watch this space for more and make note that the ATS podcast featuring our day at UCLA will be launching on April 15th for Jackie Robinson Day.
