Hi Solid cook,

Did you know our cookware contains no toxic, synthetic coatings that will harm your health or the planet? Our pans are made from a single sheet of wrought iron or non-nickel stainless steel and possess a healthy, forever-renewable surface that can be enjoyed for generations.

What's on our pans?

We lovingly season our AUS-ION™ 'Quenched' range for your convenience with non-GMO rice bran oil.

We patented a new way to season iron that heavily reduces pollution. We do this by instantly dropping a very hot pan into the vat of the right oil, so you get a pan that's 'Quenched' and ready to cook right out of the bag!

If you'd prefer to season yourself from the start, we offer AUS-ION RAW. Like our nöni™ ferritic stainless steel range, these pans don't undergo the shot-blasting and seasoning process; instead, their raw iron surface remains smooth and bare.

Forget synthetic coatings

Synthetic-coated pans can dazzle with their surface-level appeal, but these are toxic and temporary solutions that soon end up in landfills.

There are many benefits of a naturally achieved patina over synthetic coatings. In fact, building your own seasoning is the only way to achieve a natural, non-toxic, non-stick surface.

Your pan's patina (seasoning) is not a static feature but a dynamic one that evolves with each cook, making it a forever-renewable asset. As it develops, you'll get exceptional, easy-release properties that protect against corrosion and enhance the flavour of your cooking. Trust us, you will taste the difference!

AUS-ION™

Don't be afraid of real cookware

Once you start cooking with your AUS-ION™ pans regularly and develop a hardy seasoning, the surface of your pan will change. It won't look the same as when it first arrived, but remember, this is a good thing! (It's all about performance, not looks.)

To solidify that, we don't add synthetic coatings to our pans (check out the image above showing a new, freshly seasoned AUS-ION™ pan with a small unseasoned patch for reference). There are no toxic coatings to scratch off - just clean Aussie iron!
