Hey there,

Want to turn your backyard into a produce aisle this summer?

Spring is the ideal time to plant citrus! In containers or in the ground. The soil is warming up, frost risk is fading, and your plants have the whole growing season ahead of them to settle in and thrive. Once nighttime temps are reliably above 45°F, it's go time.

Here are a few we're excited about:

Owari Satsuma — One of the easiest citrus to grow at home. Nearly seedless, peels like a dream, and reliably sweet every season.
Finger Lime — The one that surprises everyone. Slice it open and the pulp bursts out in tiny citrus pearls. As resilient as it is rare.
Fukushu Kumquat — Eat it whole, skin and all. The sweet-tart combo is unlike anything else, and the tree itself is beautiful year-round.
Cara Cara Orange — Sweeter and lower in acid than a standard orange, and just as easy to grow in a sunny spot or container.
Key Lime — Smaller than a Persian lime, with a complex tartness you can't replicate from the store. The reason Key Lime pie exists.

New to growing citrus? It's not as hard as it may seem! Snag a (free) virtual appointment.
