Can fiber boost your mood?

Could something as simple as upping your fiber make you feel happier? Early evidence suggests that it just might, but we’re still looking at the research to establish the exact mechanism for this. One thing we can say? More fiber is always a great addition to your diet, with a whole host of benefits for your long-term health. 30g a day is the optimal amount of fiber and you can find it in things like wholegrains, legumes, fruit, veg, nuts and seeds. Aiming for 30 plants per week is a great way to help you get there with plenty of diversity to support your health.
